Twelve Google reviews and a website that looked genuinely good. That is what made this one interesting.

Underneath it were years of small problems. Duplicate pages competing with each other, thin pages that should never have been published, a slow load on mobile, and internal links pointing at pages that no longer existed.

None of it looked like much on its own. Together it was the reason a good looking site could not rank.

What we did

The work

1. We did not rebuild it. The site was worth keeping, so we ran the cleanout instead. Page by page: titles, headers, internal links, page speed, thin and duplicate content, broken pages, and the name, address and phone on every page.
2. Weak pages were rewritten rather than deleted where they were worth saving. Broken structure was rebuilt.
3. Then the monthly content started on top of it. Eight or more articles a month, written in house.
4. Review automation ran alongside from the first month.
